Urban Search & Rescue Ireland

Urban Search & Rescue Ireland is an Irish based emergency disaster and response unit similar to other international government and non government disaster relief teams based throughout the world. This charitable non profit organisation has been set up to provide national assistance in areas throughout Ireland with a view in the future to provide our services at a global level.

Our members are primarily made up of Firefighters, Paramedics, Doctors and Structural Engineers. The common attribute shared by all our volunteers is the desire and determination to help innocent victims of disaster.

Our volunteers bring with them many differing skills from their varied professions and learn many more skills during our training sessions and exercises. Working as part of a close knit team is the most essential attribute our volunteers possess.
